The ENACTEST project consortium was involved in the organization of the 3rd International Workshop on evaLuation and assEssment in softwARe eNgineers’ Education and tRaining (LEARNER 2025) at Istanbul Technical University, co-located with the EASE 2025 conference:

Mehrdad Saadatmand from RISE Research Institutes of Sweden served as the general chair of the workshop, and Porfirio Tramontana from the University of Naples Federico II gave a keynote talk titled “Teaching Software Testing with Gamification in Naples”. The keynote talk also included a highlight of the ENACTEST achievements and the teaching capsules developed in the project.
Among other topics, this year the workshop had lively discussions about the role of gamification, application of LLMs and ChatGPT, and importance and evaluation of soft skills in software engineering education.
The next instance of the workshop is also planned to be organized co-located with EASE 2026 in Glasgow.
